Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk
Initial job responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Record daily transactions into QuickBooks (electronic and manual entry)
- Scan/upload documents, transactions, invoices, etc. into the system
- Track company overhead and expenses
- Track project-specific costs/expenses
- Review and enter vendor invoices
- Vendor payments
- Accounts receivable/invoicing/cash flow management
- Maintain vendor records/files
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts with monthly statements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports/filings
- Generate reports
- Run salary and hourly payrolls
- General record-keeping
- Assist with business compliance, licensing, registrations, etc.
- Analyze/brainstorm/implement new systems and ideas to make the above responsibilities more efficient and help the business run smoothly
Qualifications:
- 3 experience in a bookkeeping preferably in construction or related industries.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, solutions-oriented attitude with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Experience in high-end residential construction is a plus.
