Level Team Contracting is a growing boutique construction company dedicated to delivering excellence in every project. With annual sales between $3-5 million and a team of passionate professionals, we are known for our meticulous approach to building high-end residential properties. Our commitment to quality and strong systems allows us to exceed client expectations while maintaining a supportive team atmosphere.


As our Construction Manager, you will be at the helm of our construction operations, ensuring that each project meets our high standards for quality, timeliness, and budget. Your leadership will be crucial in managing teams, coordinating with various departments, and fostering relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong background in residential construction and a keen eye for detail.



Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Project Oversight & Execution: Assume full ownership of project timelines, set and approve overall project schedules in Buildertrend, and identify potential project bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.


Strategic Financial Management: Oversee total project profitability and budget adherence, audit cost sheets and variances, verify change orders, and ensure adherence to all budgets.


Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards, troubleshoot complex project-specific issues, oversee the project closeout procedures, coordinate the transition from PM to Warranty Manager, and track and analyze quality issues.


Vendor Relations: Resolve major vendor conflicts, manage high-level vendor and subcontractor relationships and agreements.


Team Leadership & Development: Directly manage Project Managers and Site Supervisors, lead production meetings, and support the professional development of all field staff.


Executive Communication: Primary contact for customer escalations, high-level reporting to the Owners, maintaining all project documentation, and communications with other departments.



Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, preferred but not required.


10+ years in the homebuilding industry, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role such as Project Manager or Director of Construction.


Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performance teams.


In-depth knowledge of residential construction processes and industry best practices.


Proven ability to lead teams, drive business results, and achieve performance goals.


Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.


Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Proficiency with construction management software (e.g. CoConstruct) and Google Workspace


Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.


Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.


Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous

improvement.


What We Offer:


Full-Time Position, roughly 50% field / 50% office


Competitive salary at $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience.
